Clandestine Development Guides and utilities for sysadmins

RoboRally

Last year I started creating a .NET version of the classic board game RoboRally from Wizards Of The Coast. It started out as a very basic implementation of the original rules, but after I spent some time developing the groundwork for the game, I found it pretty easy to implement a bigger chunk of the game and the features I had planned for the next versions. So instead of being a single player version it is going to be a full on network enabled eight player extravaganza of RoboRally.

Since it's a pretty large project, I've decided to create a separate blog for it. You can find it at roborally.clandestine.dk. Don't be fooled by the fact that development on the game has been standing still the last couple of months, it's just because I've been extremely busy at work. Things have settled down now, and I've started picking up the game development again. So the project is far from dead.

IISList and Batch DNS Lookup

I've just uploaded IISList and Batch DNS Lookup.

It is two utilities I created for a migration job where I had to relocate a bunch of webservers that in the process needed to change IP-addresses, which in turn meant that I had to get a complete list of which domains needed to be changed.

You can see more information about the tools on the download pages.

Hello World!

Posted 3. April 2010 11:29 in Blog

I have had Clandestine Development for a bunch of years now, but never used the domain for anything useful other than e-mail, but that is going to change from now on.

I primarily develop small apps to help me with various tasks in my daily life as a systems administrator, and over the years I have created a bunch of tools that has helped me a lot, but never been shared with the public.

So this blog is going to be used as a kind of download center for the applications that I have developed, and will develop in the future. I hope some of you out there can use my applications for something useful.
